I learned from the webinar what freelance writing is. It’s very helpful for deciding whether you want to pursue freelance writing.

I liked the flow of the webinar—starting with the speaker’s introduction, followed by a brief history, and then explaining how to earn. The best part was the ending, where we were encouraged to prepare and reflect on the qualities needed to pursue this career path.

Conditioning myself to welcome the insights I wished to gain from the webinar, I realised that having a strong desire to pursue freelancing can drive one to achieve their potential, ambitions, and goals in this career. With inner discernment, anyone can perform well in their chosen niche, as long as the vision for taking the freelancing path is clear and firmly set beforehand. The highlights on knowing one’s attributes and choosing a niche were particularly challenging yet valuable for beginners. The webinar emphasised how important it is to acknowledge yourself and align these personal details when choosing a writing platform. These tasks can shape an aspiring freelancer into an ideal candidate and voice, capable of producing compelling output even as a beginner. Lastly, I commend how encouraging the webinar was in helping me take a big step toward becoming a freelance writer. The question “Is it for me?” allowed me to see that this career has been waiting for me—I just needed to look back at it and take action to fulfil my desire of becoming a freelancer.
